The JRS Food Group division has over three billion dollars in sales, seven potato plants, and two vegetable plants, handling over 3,000 skus, with major customers being all the large fast food chains in the USA such as McDonalds & KFC.Migrated the Food Group division to a standard cost accounting methodology by implementing the JD Edwards ERP system across manufacturing sites. This was complimented with the introduction of S&OP (Sales & Operations Planning) process.

The Bathurst production facility produced over 40,000 grower tonnes of vegetables, mainly frozen corn cobs, frozen kernel and canned corn products, packed in WIP form and packed out as finished goods. Also processed capsicum, limited roasted vegetables and Chiko rolls. I was responsible for providing effective, accurate and timely reporting (including statutory) on the factory operational costs, yield rate, efficiency variances and production performance. Reporting was done across the Finance teams and S&OP teams. Ensured the integrity of the plants general ledger, including the reconciliation of balance sheet accounts. As part of the senior management team at Bathurst I was involved in dealing with many of the plant issues, grower committees and local government bodies.
