In my 17 years working for one of the largest LTL carriers in the US, I have witnessed many changes to the industry and the company. When I started, I worked for Yellow Transportation which had purchased Roadway. The two merged to become YRC Freight. Now, we are integrating regional companies to become Yellow again. Throughout all of these changes, I have been instrumental in ensuring that our reps and our customers were taken care of. I achieved this by anticipating issues and writing training materials to ensure we were providing the best experience. Additionally, we recently integrated Salesforce into our Customer Service department. I have been at the forefront of that effort and have made many suggestions that have greatly streamlined the process.
