About James Cope

I am an Accounting and Financial Reporting Associate Director based out of RSM's Guildford office. I work with RSM's clients across a broad spectrum of sectors providing forward looking advice, partnering them through growth, both in the UK and overseas.I lead the Accounting and Financial Reporting Team in Guildford, supporting a diverse client base spanning a range of sectors including retail, leisure and tourism, real estate, manufacturing and healthcare. Our team provide clarity and improvement to financial reporting, producing financial statements and management information to support better strategic planning, forecasting, cash-flow and profit. This includes supporting businesses moving through IFRS and US GAAP transitions and conversions.Away from work I am a very sporty and sociable person - if it involves wind and water I’ll enjoy it! I also enjoy playing rugby and golf as well as spending time in the garden, cooking and appreciating the luxuries of life including wine and my wonderful family.
