I also looked after our server infrastructure which includes XenServer, Proxmox, Ceph Storage, Windows Server, Active Directory, Exchange 2010 & 365, WSUS, Firewall, Cisco switches, printers and the call centre PC’s. Managed up to 15 inbound/outbound campaigns on an Altitude Dialler system.Liaise with the Marketing Department to maximise profitability from data purchased.Anaylise data using in house software and MSSQL to ensure best possible data usage to meet sales targets.

Responsible for 500 call centre computers, 30 Windows Server’s which included backups and preventive maintenance. I implemented a WSUS server due to the client computers not having internet access to increase network security.

I decide whether to pass to our suppliers or provide a more detailed recommendation for the agent to implement a fix with the customer. My initial job started by technically training all the new agents on the Umax products. I then moved over to Hewlett Packard supporting their Netserver and mass storage range. This included hardware fault finding over the telephone with customers and arranging engineers to visit the customer’s site with the correct hardware to resolve the issue.

Here I was employed to repair the Umax scanners and laptops, then making sure they were shipped back to the correct customers. I also supported customers over the phone for installation issues of the Umax scanners and technical queries regarding their laptops.

I was responsible for maintaining all IKM’s PC’s, the NT server, email, the LAN and for maintaining the IKM website. I visited clients who would require on site support for the purposes of health checks, installing new software/hardware, or hardware fault diagnosis.
