James Cordier is founder of the Cordier Commodity Report which is a think tank conducting extensive commodity market research in order to provide top-tier analysis and price forecasting to the investment industry.James Cordier is President and CEO of Alternative Options - Commodity Trading Advisor, an investment firm he founded in 2024.AOCTA specializes in commodities through long short derivatives, and is NFA - CFTC registered. Mr. Cordier is head director of the Cordier Commodity Report, a think tank of commodity analysts, that bring long term perspectives to assets such as fossil fuels, precious metals, grains, and other soft commodities. CCR was formed in 2022. Prior to AOCTA, Mr. Cordier was founder of Optionsellers, a company that launched from Liberty Trading Group, a CTA he oversaw since its inception in 1999.Mr. Cordier has authored three books with McGraw-Hill, and a forth book by Forbes Books released in October 2024. A fifth book, "Why Commodities," is also being published with Forbes and is scheduled to be out in early 2025. In addition to to his work as an investor, James has special interest in philanthropic causes. Notably one being Operation Healing Forces. A non-profit organization with a mission to help both veterans and gold-star families in the pursuit of quality time spent in the re-acclimation to civilian life.
