I have closed my office and retired from my practice and now I want to share something of what I have learned. My book titled: The ABCS of Coping with Anxiety was released in the U.K. in July, 2017 and in the USA in September, 2017.

I established a private practice with a special focus on treatment of individuals suffering with anxiety disorders (e.g, Panic and Agoraphobia, Generalized Anxiety Disorder, Social Phobia, Obssessive Compulsive Disorder and Post Traumatic Stress Disorder). I established and utilized outcome based measures to evaluate progress on each open case. I was also a member and a past president of Professional Consultants and Clinicans.

The clinic served several thousand patients each year. I supervised the clinical staff as well as interns and support staff. I co-ordinated inpatient psychiatric hospitalizations and residential substance abuse placements. As Director, I also established and maintained contractual relationships with inpatient, residential and outpatient mental health providers.

Croyden Avenue School provided educational services for mentally impaired and autistic children. I supervised Home/School Staff and interns as we provided case and project management sevices to parents, teachers and administrative staff of Croyden Avenue School. I also co-ordinated the professional support staff.

Reach served special education students who were referred by Special Education Directors throughout southwest Michigan. Students were referred if they had difficult learning and behavior problems that blocked their progress. I was responsible for behavioral assessment and treatment and was a member of the interdisciplinary team that evaluated each child. I also supervised case aides and interns.
