I am a Leicestershire based game designer and and games researcher with a keen interest in artificial intelligence, QA, and innovation around mechanics and ludology. I am currently in the write up year for my PhD research in partnership with Valve Corporation, seeking to generate a framework for the understanding, implementation and assessment of AI directors in video games. My current research was funded by the Midlands 4 Cities AHRC Doctoral Scheme, and I am currently looking for work in the games industry to apply my specialised knowledge and contextualise my learning. I have experience in a number of fields, including but not limited to: Lecturing, Assessing Students, Administration, Data Analysis, Beta Testing. Through this work I have developed some specific skills, including: Python Programming, C++, Unreal Engine, Game Design, Research Methods, Data Interpretation, High Level Video Game System Design Knowledge, Theoretical Knowledge of Video Games.
