I have learned that we are nothing without the team around us and I thrive when others are counting on me to get the job done. My greatest satisfaction comes from the success and growth of my students and individuals in my care. Known for staying calm under pressure, even when my aircraft has a malfunction and we have nuclear warheads in the cargo compartment (cargo and crew were all delivered safely). Over 13 years of experience working within the Department of Defense (DoD) as an Air Force officer and C-17 instructor pilot. Experience in training, quality assurance, and nuclear operations. The highlight of my career was leading the DoD’s only nuclear airlift unit, the Prime Nuclear Airlift Force, certified to transport nuclear weapons around the globe. When I’m not at work, you can find me sipping coffee on my patio or snowboarding and surfing with my family.
