Curator of Global Shapers Iloilo Community, initiative of World Economic ForumJames Daniel E. Gregori is a Licensed Professional Agriculturist and currently the Enterprise Development and Marketing Specialist of the Department of Agriculture, a government agency responsible for the promotion of agricultural development by providing the policy framework, public investments, and support services needed for domestic and export-oriented business enterprises. James works closely with the farmer organizations all over the region. Through his expertise in Agro-Enterprise Clustering Approach, he transforms farmer organizations to a functional business groups. As he educate them with the fundamentals of Inclusive Value Chains and Organizational Development, he prepares the farmers to compete with the demand of institutional markets. Meanwhile, he built a network to connect local farmers to institutional markets with a guaranteed income and sustainable partnerships. He primarily builds farmer groups' enterprises, ensures avenue for a better market, and seeks start-up funding through investment forums and stakeholder pitches. James is a graduate of Bachelor of Science in Agriculture major in Agribusiness at West Visayas State University and Agro-Entrepreneurship at Xavier University Ateneo de Cagayan, currently undertaking Masters Degree in Public Administration (MPA). To scale up his community-building activities, he co-founded Project LUNGTI, an initiative aimed at promoting sustainable and resource-efficient urban agriculture practices through the integration of technology and innovation. James a former Impact Officer and now the current curator of the Global Shapers Iloilo Hub.
