My time as a freelance Graphic Designer/Art Director has been rich and varied. Clients have included Oddbins, Red Bull, Envato, Castrol, BP, Orange Mobile, Peverel OM (Now FirstPort), Peverel Property Management, Westway Trust, TH Henderson Real Estate and various clothing brands.

Whilst in my role at Imagine, I was Art Editor for several consumer magazines in the technology and home entertainment sector. My duties included working closely in an editorial team to bring the magazine from pagination to print. I conceived and implemented key creative (including a magazine launch) for the magazines and associated marketing collateral, devised, organised and directed photo shoots, created and edited imagery, and commissioned freelance work from external suppliers.

I was promoted to redesign another magazine within the company portfolio and teach Adobe InDesign to help the transition from Quark Xpress.

I worked under an Art Editor to design a high-end technology magazine. As well as daily design duties I was also responsible for overseeing and developing a Junior Designer, directing photoshoots and working alongside the editorial team.

As Art Editor across three consumer magazines I was responsible for the key creative decisions, as well as implementing the daily design tasks and managing the schedule.

My duties included: Design of the magazine, photo retouching, and working closely with the editorial team.
