I have been a professional magician for over 10 years. Inventing and creating magic tricks for some of the biggest names in the Magic industry. My creations are produced from scratch and are now sold worldwide. Marketing myself has been a key part of my brand and I now have repeat bookings from many prestigious Bluechip companies, who trust me and use my services to entertain their most elite staff and customers. I was even invited to perform for Las Vegas magic legends, Penn & Teller at the ITV studios as part of their hit TV show, 'Penn & Teller: Fool Us!' Now an Associate Member of the Inner Magic circle, I regularly teach at the Young Magicians Club in which we teach kids magic and theory/psychology. I also lecture for magicians and teach them my creations, being fortunate enough to be given the change to lecture for Alakazam Academy, Murphy’s At The Table, Penguin Magic and The Magic Circle who are considered the most prestigious companies in the world to lecture for. - Marketing myself as a tested brand, using newsletters, word of mouth and social media platforms. - Admin management; email and telephone communications, invoicing and stock control (inventory, product creation and product delivery)- Self managed time keeping and organisation for event bookings and product creation deadlines.- Responding to and maintaining relationships with customers and vendors.- Self-taught to use photo, video and music software such as Photoshop and Affinity Softwares to design my personal website (www.JamieDaws.co.uk) and magic creations. - Presenting myself in an approachable and welcoming manner.- Remaining calm and collected when performing, adapting performance technique and interaction to the crowd.- Teaching the Young Magicians Club and preparing lesson plans. - Following strict procedures and practices regarding children.

Since working with Waitrose, I have been trained on nearly every aspect of the store. From Hospitality, Stock Management to Cash Office Procedures, Van Deliveries and on the front line of Customer Services on the Welcome Desk. As a Customer Services Supervisor, I am expected to know everything there is to know about the section in order to maintain a smooth operation. Often dealing with several situations at one time, I perform well in high intensity situations. Equally, as well as keeping customers happy, maintaining an upbeat work environment is also crucial. Being a naturally upbeat, friendly and happy person, I can create a positive working environment which allows for maximum productivity from my team. Working in a very specialised area taught me many things about creating a bespoke service for a client. Implementing the introduction of different shave services, it became apparent that even men enjoy the luxury lifestyle. Making a male focused clientele feel comfortable engaging in otherwise 'un-masculine' treatments was challenging but incredibly interesting to be a part of! - Delivering a service that is exclusive to each customer, listening to their needs and requirements.- Building long term rapport and expanding customer base.- Recommending products and securing additional sales.- Developing personal skill, style and technique with on the job training.- Maintaining trade specific equipment.- Attention to detail. - Maintaining the premises and making sure it is presentable to customers.
