The Customer Engineering department is the prime interface between the Commercial and Networks divisions in offering engineering support to Sales and Marketing groups on significant bids. This team specialises in delivering tailored technical solutions for Government, Enterprise, and Wholesale customers.Key responsibilities include creating customer-specific solutions for complex and high-profile bids, collaborating with Engineering, Technology, Network Operations, and IT groups to produce customised designs. The role also involves overseeing the end-to-end management and delivery of project implementation.Proficiency in Optus Network Architecture and a wide range of technologies, including Carrier Ethernet, DWDM, SDH, IP Transmission, and Switching, is an essential skill set. The position involves direct coordination with Sales teams, delivering solution presentations to clients, and actively engaging with senior management at Optus.
