Duties include:-Assist in the operation and maintenance of all electrical, mechanical, and HVAC equipment within the Data Center/Facility.-Assist in maintenance and monitoring of all Data Center systems to include incidents/events, problems, changes, monitoring, problem escalation/notification/resolution and all other aspects of Data Center support.- Monitor and troubleshoot all mechanical, electrical, HVAC systems, voice/data, chiller systems and generators.- Provide assistance to contractor or data center engineers to ensure proper operation and maintenance of all facility equipment.- Provide assistance to contractor or data center engineer to deploy new equipment, such as building racks, cabling, and other tasks as necessary- Perform site walkthroughs to verify proper operation of Facility Equipment and Monitoring SystemsIn addition to acting as a Facilities First Responder to critical events

Vehicle Corrective Team Duties: Troubleshooting electrical and mechanical defects, preparing detailed root cause analysis reports to drive improved reliability, diagnostic checks, Validation and commissioning testing, scheduled preventative electrical and mechanical maintenance in conjunction with maintenance plans, multidisciplinary planning meetings, adhering to standard operating procedures and emergency response to RTAs and breakdowns. All of these duties are covered over a wide variety of shifts.Infrastructure Maintenance Team Duties: Preventative and corrective maintenance on the Luas OCS (Overhead Catenary System) and sub-station equipment (Transformers, UPS, Switchgear and back-up generators) and Track signaling systems, Authorized person for planned and emergency isolation switching involving drafting specific switching plans, mechanical and electrical front line troubleshooting, confined spaces training, MEWP/Harness training, occupational first aid training.

In conjunction with the Planning team, the production controller position is responsible for collating information regarding customer’s requirements, maintenance plan, depot resources (people and materials), depot infrastructure and available down time of trams to produce daily, short and medium-term plans for any of the three Alstom Dublin Maintenance facilities and ensuring the successful execution of the plan in collaboration with Depot / Operations Manager’s.

Corrective and preventative maintenance for a number of Petrochemical and chemical waste plants in Dublin Port along with the common oil pipeline fire suppression system. High level safety procedure training (explosive atmospheres).

First and second fixing, commissioning of new commercial, industrial and domestic builds. Instruct new apprentices as more experienced was obtained.
