Project Management/DesignImportant member of a unique team who is responsible for estimating tenders for automation and control systems throughout Atlantic Canada.Responsible in providing services to clients through the means of system design, programming and commissioning. Supervise a small team of individuals to ensure that all projects are completed professionally and meet the client’s needs and expectations.Design, construct and test different types of industrial control panel projects; which include municipal wastewater treatment systems and advance motor control systems for various mills, mines and power plants. Experience in using AutoCAD, which requires being able to design drawings for control panels that would have all the electrical and instrumentation connections.Commissioning SpecialistResponsible for onsite commissioning and start up on a variety of electrical and instrumentation devices; including but not limited too drives, PLC’s and instrumentation equipment. Capable of making PLC programming changes on site, under pressure and in a short notice without delaying the startup process.Able to communicate verbally and professionally with individuals involved in the on site start up to ensure that everything is completed correctly and in a timely manner.Responsible for commissioning waste water lift station, pumping stations and plant PLCS while working with other contractors to verify that that entire system works and meets the client’s specifications.ProgrammerExperience in programming an assortment of small to advanced PLC programs including, but not limited to, Allen Bradley PLC 5 to Contrologixs, Siemens, and Schneider.Comfortable and confident in programming a variety of HMI’s which include, but not limited to, Allen Bradley and Siemens products.Responsible for programming a variety of variable frequency drives for customers in the municipal water and wastewater industry, the pulp and paper industry and the oil industry.
