-Leading the London Live news team & managing a team of journalists across our current affairs and digital teams, delivering 25 hours of linear programming each week and bespoke content for social and online platforms, with line management responsibility for members of the NCA team.-Acting as the lead presenter, producing and editing full programmes, and conducting and editing remote interviews and packages for the channel and our social platforms. -Utilising an extensive wealth of contacts to maintain lively debate and a diverse range of subject matter for our News at 6 programme - ranging from hard hitting interviews on current events to exploring the arts and culture scene of the capital.

- Providing editorial leadership across all output including across our social media platforms.- Output producing full shows and editing them under pressure right up to the minute for our pre-recorded current affairs programme at 6pm.- Lead anchor of the news programme and other flagship weekend shows including ‘London’sInitiated a new global news show, rounding up the biggest headlines and intriguing stories from around the world in a tight half hour. An example of having to be a competent master of all trades: solely source from numerous news feeds and video archives (including AP and PA, Getty) produce, write, present and finally edit the full programme in 24 hours to TX the next morning. - In-studio reporter and on location producing, shooting and editing my own self-sourced stories.Using an extensive list of contacts to orchestrate and input produce our content.

-Self shooting, interviewing, editing and voicing my own packages daily - sometimes 2 or 3 per day - and editing them under pressure.-Live reporting on location, or in the studio. I’ve reported from the scene of some of the biggest stories in London, and have interviewed some of the biggest names in politics, sport and world of celebrity in my pre-recorded work as well as live on TV.-Output producing full shows: making the editorial decisions for hour-long programmes, suggesting and sourcing stories.-Producing across a two hour live programme daily.-Producing from the gallery: editing content immediately to be fed back live during the show, making sure the words and images chosen are still engaging within such a tight deadline. Producing and orchestrating full segments.-Writing cues and links, sourcing and cutting headlines and packages from external news agencies and archives.-Editing full hour shows when switching to the pre-recorded ‘London Focus/News at Six.’ Deciding how to produce full segments right up until its air time.-A creative flair and ability to apply common sense when producing output, often trying to match larger broadcasters with a small budget and team and being able to find the most interesting angle even with mundane material.-Very proficient in CMS, uploading web articles on my pieces daily and using social media to expand their reach.

Cutting and editing video (grabs, SOTs, OLAYs etc) for broadcast that had often been sourced from a multitude of platforms. Fine-tuning long interviews for succinct cuts.
