• Taught 7th grade Social Studies curriculum to 90 diverse students, including 10 with IEPs, through class, group, and individual instruction• Collaborated with cooperating teacher to develop, teach and evaluate daily lessons and activities that focused on higher-order critical thinking including analyzing documents related to the Louisiana Purchase and evaluating if the Louisiana Purchase was a positive or negative influence on the U.S. economy• Managed classroom by encouraging student responsibility using the school’s merit and demerit system• Hosted a Video Game Club by managing members and developing activities for club meetings.
