Sworn officer assisting town Harbor Master in maritime law enforcement, marine operations, and police details, assisted recreational boaters and professional mariners to events on the water on the Merrimack River and in the Atlantic Ocean off Salisbury Beach.

-Conduct accountability for 175-200 Cadets ranging from Freshman-Senior.-Manage staff consisting of 7 other Senior Officers and 18 Junior Squad Leaders-Maintain accountability for MMA’s motto of Discipline, Knowledge and Leadership.-Train incoming squad leaders to be effective leaders, inspire sophomores to becomeleaders, establish the foundations of leadership in freshman.-Assist in development of regimental policies for the academic year.

Worked under the Marine Liaison team to: -Develop an Emergency Response Cooperation Plan between Vineyard Wind and the United States Coast Guard.-Developed a tracker for emissions of contracted vessels to ensure compliance with EPA guidelines and reviewed existing company emergency response plans. -Developed and facilitated five table top exercises involving Vineyard Wind and USCG, along with other federal, state and local agencies. -Assisted in the creation of vessel navigation plans for New Bedford Harbor-This role required intense attention to detail, time management and collaboration with upper management along with high ranking Coast Guard personnel.

Highly successful winter term internship with duties including but not limited to assisting command staff at fire department headquarters and at incidents, building inspections, administrative work, emergency response (including major hazardous material incident), training on engines, ladder trucks, jaws of life, SCBAs and other equipment requiring intense attention to detail and situational awareness.
