SmartSpace was launched in 2012 to create the perfect model in agile commercial office solutions. A sense of innovation, agility and cutting-edge thinking is what I believe characterises SmartSpace. I like to think that’s the same energy that fuels us to solve our client’s problems as well. From the beginning, it has been my vision to create something more than a business—it was about making time for my family (and perhaps a bit of time for F45 and to catch the odd (large) fish!. It was also an opportunity to mentor others as I had been mentored. It wasn’t long before I realised I had to take on a new business partner to help grow the company, so I got in touch with my former colleague Sheila Ye. Between us, we have grown SmartSpace from a four-person team to a business employing 20 staff, in just eight years. Many combined years in the industry has helped us get here, and we are excited to now be diversifying what we do by incorporating technology-based office fitout solutions. This is an area that interests me & I believe a huge part of our future. It made sense to me to have a small investment in this area ie Agile Workplace Ltd, & FloorSense Ltd. Both these companies are having huge growth due to the general demand for technology & data required to make informed decisions, & is ideal to export.
