The Center for Army Leadership (CAL) employs scientific and evidence-based methods to identify, assess, and refine the leader attributes and competencies most important to Army leadership in order to support effective leader development, the Army profession, positive command climates and mission ready units. Provide management oversight and evaluate leader development programs for all Force Modernization and Army Branch proponents assigned to TRADOC major subordinate commands, centers, schools, and activities. Manage assessment resource initiatives in support of Combined Arms Center’s Leader Development line of effort for leader development support to the current and future force. Manage operations and mission performance relating to work that develops and implements Army-wide assessment management policies, programs, and strategies. Provide input to Army Doctrinal Publication (ADP) 1, The Army, ADP 6-22 Army Leadership Development, and other publications and tools that implement overarching leader development and professional development criteria for officers, warrant officers, and noncommissioned officers of all components and Army Civilian Professionals. Provide guidance for developing career long assessments and development management policy for branches, functional areas, career management fields, and career programs.

Serves as the Deputy Director and Program Management Analyst of theInstrumentation, Training Analysis, Computer Simulations and Support(ITACSS) Directorate, Joint Multinational Readiness Center (JMRC) atHohenfels, Germany. Serves as advisor and consultant to the Officer inCharge and Director on matters relative to the various complex and intricatephases of programs for specific missions of the Directorate. Assists in theoverall management and operations of multiple training programs, events andproducts. Coordinates, directs and assists in analysis and review oforganizational entities and systems. Maintains liaison with Command, higherheadquarters, other directorates and other government agencies whilesupervising a full-time staff which includes both military and civilianemployees. Develops broad plans for directorate support programs, planningand managing the budget, staffing, supply, and integration for a programthat provides feedback and enhances training capability and combateffectiveness of battalions, brigades, and other US and Internationalmilitary units as they conduct training at JMRC.

Responsible for supervising the operator workforce inside a wafer/semiconductor manufacturing environment. Supervises the development and implementation of activities in process areas to meet production goals, quality, and cost objectives. Prioritizes production schedules based on product introduction, equipment efficiency, and materials. Ensures training and certification of manufacturing specialists. Plans and administers procedures and budgets while making recommendations on capital expenditures and direct/indirect labor. Develops schedules and resource requirements for assigned areas. Consistently audits work areas to implement and enforce 5S and safety requirements and objectives.

Provide organizational leadership for the instruction of Army planning, doctrine and leader development to an average study body of 1500 future military and interagency leaders. Manage operations and resources for 135 instructors, curriculum developers and staff members at Fort Leavenworth and four satellite campuses. Manage the international exchange programs with Australia, Brazil, France, Germany and the United Kingdom.

Responsible for the development, oversight and implementation of strategic planning initiatives, including those focused on leader development, realistic training, and institutional agility. Senior Advisor on engagement and outreach events.

Led and supervised the training team responsible for planning, observing, and controlling realistic training for brigade combat teams from the U.S. and allied armies in preparation for worldwide deployment. Led After Action Reviews for the brigade commander and staff to consistently enable improved performance.

Led and trained a Squadron of over 650 Soldiers to deploy worldwide within 96 hours to conduct operations in any environment. Supervised the readiness of all personnel and equipment, to include the maintenance of over 130 vehicles. Managed an annual operating budget of over $1.1 Million to ensure maximum training and capability.

Managed command elements and office personnel to control a 1200 member international staff. Responsible for Commander’s planning activities and developed strategic options to frame guidance and direction for the general staff. Senior Advisor to the Commander for all engagement and outreach events.

Planned, supervised, coordinated resources, and executed all aspects of training and combat operations of a Cavalry Squadron of over 650 Soldiers. Main advisor to the commander for the employment and synchronization of all assets and capabilities; as well as coordination and utilization of all external resources and enablers.
