Idefined, maintained, and updated policies and procedures for effective management of the ITasset life cycle (e-g., acquisition, deployment, utilization, de-installation, reallocation, anddisposal).Details:* I was the Remedy Manager for SOCPAC, with admin rights. I opened, organized, transferredto the correct division, updated and closed tickets assigned to SOCPAC.* Worked with the J6 Deputy to upgrade SOCPAC from 1500 obsolete desktops to laptops,which resulted in SOCPAC experiencing minimal loss of operations during the COVIDepidemic.* Life-cycled obsolete equipment (CERP) throughout the SOCPAC area of operations, whichincluding ordering and shipping the new equipment, and receiving and DRMO’ing theobsolete, while maintaining proper accountability.* Audited, validated, and reconciled software licenses against the installed asset base.* Managed and planned for the population of the asset database.* Worked closely with the Government to ensure policy compliance and asset maintenance.

Directed troubleshooting and made operational adjustments to technical control and telecommunication transmission equipment to include Promina 800 systems, various modems, and patch panels. Worked in conjunction with various other sections to include, but not limited to, Network/Systems Administrators, Outside Plant, and SL-100 personnel. Utilized Remedy for opening and maintaining trouble tickets.* Operated test equipment to verify end-to-end circuit, system, and network signals meet minimum standards. Equipment included the Fireberd 6000A and 8000.* Performed circuit, trunk, link, and system patching and cross connecting to establish, sustain, and restore service. Worked with local SATCOM office for most testing.
Switching System Technician
