Monitor inventory levels of products from receiving until sold/returned. Check purchase orders for exceptions from normal procedures, including duplication, no charge items or specials not tagged to a specific customer order. Requested return authorizations for canceled, duplicated, and/or defective items. Eliminate excess inventory through various venues including returns to the appropriate distribution center or vendor. Balance inventory levels between branches for optimal efficiency. Prepare products for display in a 6500 sq ft. showroom, and maintain all displays for optimal appearance. Monitor showroom inventory for accuracy and adjust accordingly. Work with vendors, vendor representatives, and in-house salespeople along with credit department and shipping and receiving to coordinate efficient purchasing and return processes.

Repaired/replaced defective lighting, appliances, and ceiling fans. Repairs and replacements were done at the customers’ sites and involved chandeliers, flush mounts, wall mounts, and nook lighting in every room of the home or office. Installed and oversaw delivery of high-end (Viking, Bosch, Aga, Thermador, Kitchenaid) appliances. Monitored inventory levels of products designated as specials. Requested return authorizations for canceled, duplicated, and/or defective items. Prepared products for display in a 10,000 sq ft. showroom, and maintain all displays for optimal appearance. Work with vendor representatives, and in-house salespeople along with credit department and shipping and receiving to coordinate efficient return processes.
