I have worked in the construction industry since 1993 gaining my initial experience of Commercial Management with the multi-national contractor, Tarmac Construction, where I received excellent training and experience of significant projects including Whinfell Forest holiday village (now Centreparcs).Since then I progressed through the ranks at Bowmer & Kirkland, managing my first project in 1997/8 as an Assistant QS, progressing to Project and Senior QS roles during the early 2000’s and achieving a Managing QS role in 2005, holding similar roles at Miller Construction and Seddon. I am now a Director with Eric Wright Construction with responsibility for Bids, Framework Management with emphasis on Residential and Education, Training, ICT & General Contract Compliance.I have been responsible for a large variety of projects and these have included residential, education,commercial offices, retail schemes, civil improvement schemes, large scale industrial / distribution (including chilled), retail refurbishments, primary care, mixed use, SEN educational facilities, student accommodation, housing and other commercial projects up to an individual value of over £50M.
