As a Clinical Advisor to GIRFT NHS Midlands at NHS West Midlands, I support the service improvement team for surgery and help patients and teams consider the best treatment options. With over 20 years of experience as a Consultant Surgeon, I have an holistic approach to patient care and a passion for quality improvement and outcome enhancement.I am skilled in data analysis, audit, patient pathway redesign, laparoscopic surgery, colorectal surgery, abdominal wall reconstruction, and herniae. I am also a Community First Responder with East Midlands Ambulance Service, an Event Medical Officer for the Commonwealth Games 2022, and a volunteer at vaccination hubs.
