James auditioned for Apple Tree #2 in the Antigo Community Theatre's production of "The Wizard of Oz" directed by Molly Gums. He was selected to play Professor Marvel and the Wizard himself! James thanks his wife Connie for her patience and support during eight weeks of rehearsals and two weeks of performances. And he thanks his family and friends who came to see him perform!

Connie and James co-created with their couples and officiated for them a very personal and most unique and always memorable Wedding Ceremony, one that touched the hearts and funny-bones of not only the couple but their guests, as well. The highlight was the couple's Love Story during which time they shared not only the couple's history but also the feelings they experienced on their journey from acquaintance to attraction, from romance to true love, from living together to living Happily Ever After together!

Provided ceremonies (including baby blessings, funerals and memorial services) and counseling (including spiritual and addiction issues) for individuals, couples and families and chaplain services for retirement communities, nursing homes, memory care units, assisted living facilities, hospice programs and treatment centers in the Madison, WI, area.

Provided mediation and arbitration services for public employers and their organized employees.

Facilitated spirituality groups on issues related to the 12-Step Program and topics such as guilt, shame and forgiveness. Presented workshops based upon "Beauty and the Beast" and "The Wizard of Oz."

Provided Chaplain Services, including counseling and ceremony officiation, to the skilled nursing and memory care units and the assisted and the independent living residents.

Completed four units of Clinical Pastoral Education serving the nursing home, memory care unit and assisted living facility at Meriter Retirement Center for six months and serving the emergency room, intensive care, cardiology and oncology units of Meriter Hospital for six months.

Served as a Mediator, Arbitrator and Hearing Examiner in cases involving disputes between employers and their organized employees.

Taught high school English and journalism courses. Advised Award-Winning student newspaper "The Bronco Times."
