As part of the Flagship Data Science team, I work with the Messaging and Groups product and engineering teams to help them make data driven decisions, and to identify opportunities.

Uber Labs advises teams all around the world on how to solve Uber's business challenges via experimentation and research. In addition to global operations, we also collaborate on R&D projects across product, marketing, engineering, business development, people, and finance. The Labs team is comprised of behavioral scientists who share a passion for utilizing experimental design, statistics, and teaching to drive real world innovation.As a part of my role, I regularly advised teams on experimental design, statistics, and how to interpret and present findings. I also built tools to help teams run analyses and share knowledge.

⋅ Conducted original research examining motivation and cognition in Major Depressive Disorder as member of the ⋅ Used penalized logistic regression to decode memory content from functional MRI images⋅ Built an analysis pipeline using R, python, and a combination specialized neuroimaging software (AFNI, FreeSurfer, pyMVPA) to integrate >100gb neuroimaging, behavioral and questionnaire data ⋅ Analyzed experience sampling data (time series, ~200,000 rows) using multilevel mixed-effects models⋅ Integrated self-report and behavioral human data collected in-lab and via handheld devices⋅ Disseminated findings by presenting at meetings and writing peer reviewed journal articles.⋅ Mentored and managed undergraduate 5 research assistants⋅ Served as a teaching assistant for 7 different Stanford courses including graduate statistics courses

⋅ Advised graduate students and post-doctoral scholars on more than 25 different research projects⋅ Helped advisees formulate experimental questions, design measurements, and analyze findings⋅ Assisted in implementation of advanced statistical analysis e.g. Multilevel Mixed-Effects Linear Models, ANOVA, multivariate regression, factor analysis⋅ Helped advisees implement analyses, data cleaning and manipulation in R

- Conducted 100+ diagnostic screenings at Fox Lake correctional facility in one-on-one interviews with inmates using the Hare Psychopathy Checklist-Revised (PCL-R)⋅ Organized file reviews in an extremely challenging and time-constrained environment⋅ Collected, preprocessed, and checked for errors in data using Excel
