Participate and support in the delivery of a range of modules to in strength and conditioning and training theory and practical.Demonstrate practical techniques and provide training to staff and students on specialist equipment.Deliver the practical strength and conditioning programme.Support and mentor the students while on the practical strength and conditioning programme placements.Prepare, set-up and clear away technical equipment for practical lectures where required, including management of data recorded during these lectures.Advise academic staff and research students on equipment and procedures to support research projects.Build and maintain collaborative networks related to the post within and external to the University and the Institute.Support the delivery of the strength and conditioning programme to the University owned franchises the Worcester Wolves (BBL) and the Severn Stars (VNSL)

I work within the University's S&C setup providing support to the University's performance teams as well as the University's elite athletes and outreach groups including Worcester Swimming Club. I also help with the CPD work for undergraduate students aiming to become S&C coaches. I also currently work with the Universities two professional franchises the Worcester Wolves and the Severn StarsMy responsibilities include:- Athlete testing (Strength, Power, Anaerobic/Aerobic, FMS, Anthropometrics)- Writing and implementing weight training programmes.- Writing and implementation of Speed agility, plyometrics and conditioning programmes.- Monitoring training loads and athlete wellbeing.- Assisting with and leading the training and CPD sessions of undergraduate S&C instructors.

Provided S&C support for the University of Worcester Performance teams including a year working soley with the Rowing club.In my role I was responsible for the planning and implementation of a season long programme for the performance teams and UWRC under the guidance of the Strength and Conditioning Mentor.This included:- Functional Movement Screening- Fitness Testing- Weights sessions and circuit training sessions.- Montoring weekly and monthly training loads and player wellbeing.I was also responsible for the training of several Strength and Conditioning Asisstants, mentoring them and helping them progress as coaches.Through this role I gained experience of working with performance athletes and coaches and learnt the importance of building solid relationships with the coaching staff of the club and working as part of an interdisciplinary team
