My role involved working with the Augmented Analytics team working on the "Smart Insights" feature of the SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC).Responsibilities:• Developed an understanding of the SAC – A tool created by SAP to allow users to visualize and analyse data in the cloud• Learned at a high level how their “Smart Insights” feature works on the backend, and formed an understanding of it through research and communicating with members of the team• Problem solved, analysed bugs, and figured out working solutions using object-oriented programming in Java. Unit tested every solution to ensure they were fixed correctly• Automated the “Import” feature of the SAC using Python’s robot framework and the selenium library• Refactored code to ensure it followed best practices• Participated in the team’s discussions and offered code reviews to peers• Applied the Scrum methodology – Attended daily stand-up meetings, sprint planning, sprint reviews,sprint retrospectives and 1 on 1 meetings
