I have worked most heavily in design of customer device and equipment solutions, but my interests also include automation, arduino, and 3D printing. I am very intrigued by anatomy and prosthetics, leading me to my interest in the medical field. I graduated with a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from North Dakota State University, focusing on mechatronics and design.I have had a combined 6 years of experience in technical positions including machining, research and development, process engineering, design, maintenance, support, and manufacturing 2 of which I have worked professionally in medical engineering that has allowed for:Over 3000 hours designing on various CAD software including Solidworks, Autodesk Fusion 360, Autodesk Inventor, and Creo Parametric;Interning across various department of an injection molding company;Over 100 hours of machining on industrial equipment including mills and lathes;Design of 3 complete automated electro-mechanical systems for private sector customers;Design of process parameters for state of the art mechanical deposition of metallic powders and polymer matrix development.I have worked with other engineers and technical employees in a multidisciplinary environment, and my interest and experience with robotics has allowed me to work directly with electrical, mechanical, manufacturing, and software engineers to create fully integrated automatic systems.I am mechanically inclined, have great problem solving, interpersonal, leadership, and project management skills.My past work experiences have added to my experiences in robotics, automation, controls, validation, design, machining, ISO documentation compliance, quality assurance, project management, customer service, lab safety, lab maintenance, process development, research and development, data analysis, and written/oral communication.
