James Flanagan Email and Phone Number
I'm pursuing a future in Motorsport Engineering/Mechanical Engineering and considering a master's degree in relevant fields after graduating from my Mechanical Engineering degree at Munster Technological University in May 2025. Alongside my studies, I'm looking into graduate programs and keen on gaining more work experience as a Mechanical Engineer, especially over the summer or through short-term roles. My experience stretches from being a co-driver in the Irish National Rally Championship, where teamwork and making quick decisions under pressure were key, to an engineering internship at the University of Salerno (UNISA). At UNISA, I focused on a Formula Student project, working on the suspension team to redesign an upright using additive manufacturing and FEA. This role deepened my understanding of vehicle dynamics and engineering design, skills I'm excited to bring to a team in the motorsport industry.I've also been part of the MTU Motorsport Club and competed in karting championships, further fueling my passion for racing and engineering. With each experience, I've built on my ability to work well in teams, solve problems creatively, and manage projects effectively.I'm eager to apply what I've learned in a practical setting and contribute to a team that shares my passion for Mechanical Engineering.James Flanagan
