James Fleming Architect, A private architectural practice, formed as a sole proprietorship in 1990. Since its inception, JFA has provided a broad range of architectural design for Commercial, Residential, and Healthcare projects.Prior to private practice, worked at several Metropolitan Area architectural firms where significant projects designed are the Mand Library for the New York City Fire Department, as well as site planning and flex office building designs for several proposed facilities for a business park development in mid-Westchester including a 18,000 SF Product Distribution Facility for a national food company designed by Mr. Fleming, which was the anchor tenant.Established in 1990 and based in Larchmont, NY, the architectural practice of James Fleming, RA, has been involved in many commercial projects such as restaurants, fitness centers and retail store design throughout the immediate locale, as well as residential additions, new construction, healthcare and institutional projects.Projects have included architectural administration services for six Hemodialysis Centers in the NYC metropolitan, as well as several in-hospital renovation projects for local hospitals, numerous in hospital renovations, and several private practice satellite medical offices.We have designed additions and new homes in the Metropolitan Area, ranging in size from minor kitchen extensions to major alterations, and additions to existing homes. We have designed several new homes in these areas, where land is a scarcity.James Fleming, Architect is a recipient of a 2013 Westchester Hudson Valley Chapter of the American Institute of Architects Citation Award for Historic Preservation.

Alden House is a 78 Unit Cooperative Apartment Building.Duties included overseeing budget development, implementation, and administration of day-to day maintenance, personnel, operations decisions, legal matters, major building upgrades and repairs and shareholder/tenant relations, as well as building management firms employment.

Project Architect designing commercial and industrial developments for a Mid-Westchester Environmental/Site Development firm.At this assignment as Project Architect, James Fleming designed such highlighted projects as the Mand Library at the NYFD Fire Training Academy at Randalls Island, NY, and the 22000 SF Frito Lay Distribution Center in Mount Kisco, NY.____________________________________________Prior to 1987, was project architect at several NY metropolitan region architectural firms.
