As a certified workplace health and safety professional and a consultant (external) COR Auditor I engage in occupational health and safety consulting, field Health & Safety supervision, HSE program development and auditing for COR/SECOR compliance. With a focus on human factors I utilize positive coaching strategies and strive to create a constructive supportive and accommodating safety culture; an approach developed over my career across a variety of industries beginning in the softwood lumber industry (manufacturing and reforestation), and continuing through oil & gas construction (pipeline / mechanical) and midstream operations, transportation, civil construction (road building, concrete, water / sewer pipelines and civil development). I have worked in various capacities in operations management, business development, HSE management - primarily as lead safety in a senior management role. I pursue opportunities for continuous improvement and learning through experience and training and endeavor to develop and maintain lasting relationships and partnerships to support my professional ambitions and to help others realize theirs.
