Manage a team of skilled individuals in Server, Storage and Networking technologies who act as a pre-sales technical resource for our sales team. Our role is to enhance solution based opportunities and aid sales in providing the customer a turn key solution from solution design through to implementation.

My role evolved from the previous role of HP Generalist Trainer, to Specialist training HP Channel Partner sales staff on Value Storage (EVA/P4000/Clustered Storage etc) and HP Networking products (Procurve/software/security etc)

Training sales professionals on all aspects of Hewlett Packard Products and Services including PSG/ISS & Lefthand Networks plus providing support and advice during call out/focus days and being an additional resource to each reseller's Partner Business Manager

Providing training, support and pricing assistance to Business Partners converting customers purchasing competitive products back to Hewlett Packard.

Creating customer quotations and business propositions around servers and storage solutions via leads generated by sales teams.

Bringing on board brand new business to dealing with Micro Warehouse, and managing these accounts until they hit a certain level of spend/growth then transition to an account manager with monthly growth targets.
