I am a customer focused leader and I thrive on leading teams to overcome tough challenges. My passion is creating new and engaging content that allows the sales team to uniquely position both our company, and our solution offering through storytelling. I believe in gaining the voice of customer (VOC) by both listening to our customers but also actually observing what they do. Many choose to differentiate mainly on the basis of product features and benefits. There is a place for that towards the end of the sales funnel, but I think the power of storytelling that relates to the customer's high level challenges and engages them to help drive the conversation is much more effective. This is when you and the customer can lead to the right solution together, and your unique value propositions resonate so much more.Further, I believe Leadership is about bringing out the best in people, mentoring, and providing direction for the team to succeed. I believe the number one priority of any leader is do all you can to make the team successful. This means rarely answering questions, but rather helping others to find the answers themselves. This means incorporating mentoring and development into your daily routine, not something done separately. It means preparing the next generation of leaders to do it better than you.
