I am a highly motivated individual specialising in asset management and business systems. I have experience in integrating business processes and ICT systems by combining my technical background with an in depth understanding of a number of social housing functions within the housing environment. This provides me with a firm understanding of the principles of strategic asset management along with ICT strategies and the close linkages between the two.I consider myself to be an extremely ambitious person, achieving a number of internal promotions to move up through different levels of my previous organisation, before joining Savills in May 2020. I am passionate about bringing change to enhance the service offered to customers of the organisation. Investment planning for each category & production of 30 year business plan using stock condition data aligned to capital resources. • Production of programmes of capital works for multiple service providers, based on fixed budgets & investment priorities identified using comprehensive stock condition data. Building programme management tools & processes for the updating of asset management.• Implementation of legislative change into policy, processes & data – including identification of properties within fuel poverty & minimum level of energy efficiency for new lettings, implementing heat metering & billing for heat networks & the implementation of case processing software for the Homelessness Reduction Act. • Production of Housing’s ICT strategy & identification of key business requirements, risks & efficiencies to ensure technology enables the service to achieve its objectives.• Implementation of new ICT systems & ICT projects to enhance system functionality, working with a wide range of stakeholders to deliver projects aligned to corporate priorities & strategies. At first I was given specific line management of 3 Business Support Officers whose responsibility was to maintain and implement new ICT systems and functionality within the Housing Service. Over time my role was widened to include line management of all members of the Business Support Team to include ICT systems, a ‘Rent Debit’ function and a centralised administration service to the whole Housing service. I was responsible for all ICT systems within the Housing Service. I managed the implementation of a number of new systems and functionality changes for various business areas. I worked closely with colleagues across different services and levels and seniority within the Council, building a number of successful relationships with representatives of different Council departments.I was also responsible for availability of ICT systems, systems interfaces, project management, business process reviews and streamlining, reporting and presentation of data, key statistical returns and supporting users from different teams across the Council. This work was followed by the Housing year end process where the team had to load the new charges and issue a number of statutory notices and invoices to tenants and leaseholders. Rent Arrears OfficerHarlow Council Sep 2005 - Aug 2006Harlow, EssexI worked on rent recovery for a patch of approximately 1,500 properties across the town. I was responsible for rent collection across a number of different types of tenure and recovery processes, including both garages and former tenants. I worked to tight performance targets to maximise rental income to the Council and worked on a project to audit and improve the rent arrears module of the Council’s Housing Management System.
