As an acquisitions manager, l seek out, negotiate, finalize, and organize purchase of residential and commercial property. In many cases, acquisitions are grouped with mergers and the main job function is acquiring other companies and their property. It is my responsible for ensuring any acquisition made by John Fletcher Properties is sound and reasonable. This involves projecting how the transaction will affect our company and determining the financial impact of the purchase, develop and execute the acquisition strategy as well as ensure the process goes smoothly.

As an asset manager I was responsible for the big picture. I counsels our clients on potential real estate purchases. I would research potential properties, considering multiple aspects such as zoning, taxes and neighborhood demographics to find those that align with our clients financial goals. I was also often the lead negotiator when a property is being acquired or sold. In addition, I would undertake routine audits on our clients real estate portfolio to identify properties that lag in profitability.

I would advise, advocate, analyse, report and provides strategy in the field of real property. It is a process that requires technical competency across a broad range of property matters, along with sound, critical enquiry. My roll is the link between defining the problem and devising a solution of measurable economic value
