I am a public servant working at the Canadian Food Inspection Agency as a Primary Inspector. My passion for nature and environmental sustainability motivated me to change my career towards the environmental protection sector. I am a graduate in the Environmental Protection Technology program at Kwantlen Polytechnic University (KPU). Throughout my six years of experience working in the banking industry, I developed excellent attention to detail, judgment, communication and problem-solving skills. With my post-secondary education at KPU, I was fortunate to have two great experiences working in the environmental industry. These include pest management and horticulture research. This experience enhanced my skills and knowledge in workplace health & safety, fieldwork, and project planning. With my combination of skills and work experience, I look forward to what the future has in store for my career in the public sector.
