• Info point, Shaw systems have 57 different applications, which cater to various financial processing needs. Worked on several projects listed below.• Archival and Retrieval system was upgraded to archive consignments/invoices and use the archived data based on user requests in batch/online mode. The data existing on IMS databases was moved to DB2 tables using files accessed by a suite of different programs and archived initially to DASD files and subsequently to Magnetic Tape files and generate reports. Responsibility included Program Development, Preparation of Structure charts, Access charts, Unit Test Plan (UTP), Generation of PSB’S, Unit Testing, System Testing, Reviews of Code, Unit testing, Quality Control and Implementation support.• BACAS (Business Analysis Customer Approval System) receives the application contacts a credit bureau, receives a credit report, analyses the credit report and assigns a final score to the application to indicate whether the applicant has been accepted with or without a deposit. System keeps track of information like how many credit reports been received and its results.
