I opened a pop-up art gallery in the most central part of South America in a city called Cuiaba. A friend and I turned the inside of an old building from the historical town center into a busy art gallery/ event space for the local artists. The gallery was featured in newspapers on a regular basis and soon reached cult status in the city. The desire and passion I had to create something uniquely special was almost secondary to the love and warmth the community showed towards the project.

I created my own clothing brand with while living in Brazil. The idea was to produce unique handmade and hand painted clothes. Each item is a one off, so you can own a piece of art that’s wearable. I built the website and sold everything when the items was on display at my gallery Door 607 when I opened the doors in September.
