The job required a high level of problem solving skills. The job also entailed a proactive work ethic, with excellent people management skills. With an emphasis on getting the job done safely and on time.

As site supervisor i was in charge of various projects, which included new houses to renovations, shop fitouts and commercial building works. The job required a vast knowledge of the construction industry. Due to the nature of the job it was important to be proficient at budget allocation and cost estimating. A good understanding of engineering principles was a must and a sound knowledge of local government building legislation. It also required excellent people managment skills when coordinating various trades.

Worked as a sub contractor for various builders. Worked in all aspects of the residential and commercial building industry with a large and varied scope of work. Due to owning the business it gave me a good understanding of cash flow and proper business management. Cost estimating, budgeting, and being able to work to a business plan played a critical role in the success of the business. I put emphasis on client satisfaction and attention to detail.
