My role as Field Manager involves managing and mentoring a team of engineers ranging from 14-25 in number across the North of England. Ensuring they are all up to date with current sector legislation, company Health & Safety, Skill Set requirements and procedures/policies. Dealing with 'problematic' jobs directly myself if required or offering assistance to the engineers onsite to ensure a speedy resolution for the customer. Liaising with company operations and compliance managers.

This role involved numerous dynamic positions on Land and at Sea. Most notably my secondment to the British Army for 12 months including a 7 month deployment Op Telic in Basra, Iraq 2007. This role displayed my capability to operate in a high pressure and testing environment away from my normal environment. Carrying out Fault Finding, Pre Planned and Reactive Maintenance on:• Weapon Systems. • Small Arms. • Radars.• Sonars. • Navigational Aids. • Communication Systems.
