Prepare & analyze financial reports for TCC's five programs (revenue streams). Responsible for budgeting, payments, deposits, contracts, account reconciliation & transaction review. Ensure departments adherence to university (and departmental) policy and procedures. Liaison to CBO under trial shared services business model.

Responsible for monthly income, payroll, various expense and impromptu reports. Perform account reconciliation and transaction review for all Information Technology Services (ITS) departmental transactions. Compile and prepare extensive annual ITS Core Data and Network billing for all departments on campus. Assist with preparation and submission of annual budget. Sole responder (and researcher) for accounting related ITS customer service issues from both students and staff.

Responsible for producing semester and fiscal year end entries/vouchers including legislatively mandated set asides for student loans. Provided data, reports and analysis of various internal requests from the controller, budget and provost offices; produced annual reports/surveys for all manner of tuition and fee information requests by external entities such as the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board and the Texas Legislature.

Supervised staff and facilitated in production of monthly profit/loss/income statements; performed billing and account reconciliation. Responded directly to key executive staff and branch managers concerning information requests and operational problems. Analyzed, researched, solved accounting issues; recommended course(s) of action for management in order to resolve and prevent recurrence.Responsible for all administrative aspects of (an independently administered) retirement plan. Determined eligibility, issued loans, distributions (including hardships) and rollovers. Deposited all withholding taxes and prepared (and filed) all forms required by the IRS. Produced participant account statements, performed all discrimination testing and generated all pre-audit schedules required in conjunction with the annual (external) audit. Answered all questions from participants concerning both plan regulations and individual accounts.
