In 2017 I started developing software to be used for various tasks and this led to a great opportunity. In 2019 I was granted the opportunity to study full time with the agreement that if I am not in class and during recess, I must work full time. This allowed me to improve the programs I already made with the new skills I learned and develop new programs to assist in the everyday work environment. I finished my degree in BSc Information Technology in 2021 and I am currently busy with my Bachelor of Science Honours In Computer Science and Information Technology with Computer and Information Systems and will complete it at the end of 2022

I joined the SANDF on the 12 of January 2012 and completed my Basic Military Training at the 3rd South African Infantry Battalion in Kimberly.I was then transferred to the Intelligence Core where I did my Intelligence Orientation at the School of Tactical Intelligence in Potchefstroom. I then passed the selection to become a Battlefield Surveillance Operator and did my operators training at the end of 2012. I completed two, six-month deployments in 2013 and 2014 to the Kruger National Park for Opps Rhino to combat rhino poaching. In 2015 I completed the full Driving and Maintenance Course allowing me to drive all Regimental vehicles including the Ratel 6x6, Mamba 4x4, and all Samil variants.In 2016 I was posted at the School of Tactical Intelligence to co-manage the Tactical Intelligence System store. I then identified a need for a program to assist with keeping the equipment organized. Using my basic knowledge of programming I was able to learn C#. I obtained sufficient knowledge to successfully write a program that was able to run the system store. I wrote multiple programs to assist other departments inside the School of Tactical Intelligence.
