Completed vocational experience at Swinburne’s Smart Structures Laboratory as a Test Engineer. Trained by the Senior Test Engineer to operate the state of the art MTS machinery owned by the University (in particular the 1 Meganewton machine). The primary role was to assist PhD students on their projects while working closely with the engineering staff. Activities ranged from developing conceptual designs and reviewing plans to the testing of large concrete specimens using the designated MTS machine.
