Senior Engineer
CurrentAs the Senior Engineer of the Highway Structures department, my main duties include:1. Asset Management of all 1055 County Council Highways Structures with the County.2. Representing the County Council at the County Surveyors Society on all Highway Structure matters.3. General Principal and Special inspection procedures of all Highway structures.4. Ensuring that the infrastructure has both a valid structural and scour assessments.5. Drafting of Highways Structure Business Plans.6. Project Management of Capital and Revenue Bridge Projects (£3m+ 2014 budget).7. Drafting of NEC3 contracts for procurement of consultant and contractor services.8. Point of Contract for Highways Structure correspondence.9. Line /management and development of Technical staff. 10. CDM Commercial Client, CDM Designer and Principal Contractor.
