I have completed my Master’s of Liberal Studies Degree Program with a Certificate in Communications from the University of Toledo. I graduated in May of 2011. I received my Undergraduate Degree in 2006, from The University of Toledo, I graduated Cum Laude. I earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree from University College with an emphasis in Business/Human Resources and Communications. Along with my degree, I also completed the requirements for a Diversity Management Certificate. I am currently Retired from The University of Toledo as an Online Admissions Recruiter and Part Time Instructor.. My duties consisted of the following: Marketing for the online programs; Recruitment and Retention of students; Registration of current and new students to the program; I was In charge of the Out of State Scholarships, and all other duties needed to recruit and retain online students. My job was to assist The University of Toledo with recruiting and retaining a diverse online student population. I also taught classes to the Adult Learner to assist them with becoming re-acclimated to The University setting. I also taught Communication Classes. I have very strong communication skills and I am a great listener. I have the talent to diffuse a situation before it gets out of control. I have had the opportunity to do numerous presentations in a variety of settings. My motto is three-fold : "Treat everyone with dignity and respect". "In order to get what you want help others to get what they want". Last but not least, "No One Cares What You Know, Until They Know That You Care". I am enjoying my retirement. I now use my gifts for presentation and Communication as a Vocalist and Musician with a six piece Band named "It's Essential". I also Sing in my Church Choir as well as perform as a Musician in the Church Band.
