Minimising supply chain risk, delivering cost savings and value, developing the product offer, and improving the business presence in the market. Reporting directly to the Commercial Director with responsibility for the lighting, circuit protection, cable, and cable management categories totalling £400m in revenue (£68m own brand). Four direct reports, three Product Managers and one Assistant Product Manager.· Leading, motivating, and coaching the category team· Strategic supplier relationship management and development· Lead negotiator of commercial terms, policies and trading agreements· Responsible for the strategic direction of multiple categories, utilising insight driven category planning processes to help define category direction over the next 2 years and beyond· Accountable for multiple categories P&L’s, establishing financial targets, promotional targets, and monitoring category performance to budget· Development and management of own brand/private label ranges to ensure products are consistent with brand strategy, market competitive, profitable and sourced through a sustainable supply chain· Accountable for multiple categories demand forecasting, service levels, and availability
