A proud family man who is dedicated and driven with both aspects of my life in both home and work.I am an experienced process engineer, project manager and an expert in equine surfaces and related products. I am happily married and have a 4yr old Daughter and a 13yr old Son along with our 4 horses and 1 dog. I am a creative person; a business leader and I strive for excellent and continuous improvement in the business and my home life. I am an open-minded person who looks to receive constructive criticism from my peers and family to help me become a better person and learn from my failures.At an early age of 24, following the loss of our leader, founder and my Father, I quickly had to learn what it takes to run a successful business through failures and successes. It drives me every day to want to succeed and to make him proud that we have continued his legacy that he left for us, so we could provide a stable environment for our children. My biggest passion has always been working for our family business and I love to be at work and to be grateful for the job I get to do daily. I learnt all aspects including Manufacturing, Sales, Transport, Production and now Directorship and ownership accountability. Between 18-21, I was the project leader in supplying the 4 racecourses and x2 training tracks we have provided surfaces to over the world. These are our largest value and volume of product we have carried out so far.X2 racecourses in the USAX2 training track in EuropeX2 racecourses in AustraliaSpending months at a time out in Australia, America and Europe manufacturing the surfaces and then supervising the laying and commissioning of the surfaces being laid.Following my years travelling the world, at the age of 21 I then stepped into the Production and Manufacturing department (Production Manager) where I was responsible for manufacturing the fibre and surfaces at our depot in Burnley.Natural progression moved me into Operations Manager where I then took on Transport and Installations before becoming a Director following the passing of my father. To this day, I continue to learn new ways of working and new skills that allow not only myself to progress but the business as well. I strive for continuous development and working to the principle that doing the same thing will only give the same results. I have completed level 3 in Leadership and Management.I have completed my VRQ level 4 in waste management.I am also working towards completing a master’s degree Level 7 in leadership and management.
