    RDL or Reproduction Drawings Limited worked for various publishers of educational literature the main one being Prentice Hall based in New York. Pre Apple Macintosh, when illustration was undertaken by a team of 10 on good old drawing boards with parallel motion, Rotring ink pens, french curves and scalpels. Lots of paste-up after the typesetters had produced the necessary text and then into the dark room to produce PMT bromide film and paper reproductions. I was lucky enough to be the only proficient person with an airbrush so got some of the more interesting work.
