As a Project Manager in the Nuclear industry, I am currently contributing to the construction of Hinkley Point C, the first new Nuclear power station to be bult in the UK in over 30 years. This project is at the forefront of delivering low-carbon energy whilst simultaneously addressing the nations energy needs.My role involves overseeing complex workstreams, ensuring timely delivery of equipment within budget and on schedule while maintaining the highest standards of safety and quality in a highly regulated environment. Collaborating with Multidisciplinary teams, I manage risks, resolve challenges, and drive performance to meet the ambitious targets.My skillset is deeply rooted in my 11 years service as a Royal Marines Commando. It was here that I cultivated resilience, adaptability, and a mission-focussed mindset. This foundation of skills has allowed me to thrive in high-pressure environments, remain calm and composed under challenging circumstances, and leads teams with precision and purpose. My ability to analyse situations, make critical decisions, and inspire confidence within the project team translates seamlessly into managing large-scale projects. My commitment and drive for excellence has empowered me to navigate the complexities of the Nuclear sector.
