1. SHE:- Accountable for all measures which are required to maintain the units in compliance with all internal standards and state and federal laws, policies and procedures regarding environmental, health and safety issues.2. Cost:- Accountable for his budget; talking corrective actions to meet the targets regarding SHE, cost, quality, on time delivery and asset integrity.3. Production / Operations Improvement- Responsible to keep the site and all chemical and technical processes continuously under control. Decides on corrective actions as needed e.g. to solve technical, safety or quality problems.- Accountable for continuous improvement measures to achieve world class manufacturing standards, using Lean tools, 5 S, Management of Change (MOC).- Responsible for the on-time availability of raw materials in the quantity and quality according to production schedules.4. Quality / Costumer Satisfaction- Prepares, controls, updates and transfers all process instructions in the area of responsibility. - Accountable for maintaining or achieving all permits which are required for manufacturing at the site. 5. Engineering- Supporting the yearly planning and implementation of investment projects in the Urethanes plant on the basis of Business Unit strategies, capacity requests and legal requirements. 6. Leadership / Personnel- Leading, motivating and developing his organization in line with company policies. Give professional, proactive support to his/ her direct subordinates. Managing personnel resources issues in cooperation with HR. Managing the existing contractual agreement with the unionized staff.

Oversee operations in the manufacturing of intermediate and finished products utilizing Six Sigma, Lean and continuous improvement techniques.Oversee the plant utilities (gas boiler, water wells, potable water, natural gas, and the overall operation of the WWTP.
